and welcome! This site is dedicated to my experience
or should I say experiment with home automation and
home improvement.

First,
I am not a professional contractor of any kind. All the
information I provide was learned through trial and error,
reading advice on other web sites and of course reading
instruction manuals. I am somewhat handy around the house
but nothing posted on this site is all that complicated.
I have a limited amount of tools so any projects I list
did not require any heavy machinery. |

Home
automation explained, not really. I have been toying
around with some minor home automation projects for
about 5 years now. My first house was just a few modules
but since relocating to Central New York I have added
a few more gizmos. Click

of the home automation gadgets I use to date are sold by x10.com .
You might know X10 from all those annoying pop up ads for
their mini cameras.
In
the near future I plan on adding some more gadgets so check
back for updates.
